As we begin to undertake the planning of our 32nd annual coed tournament, we have great
expectations. We continue to try and find ways to help the children and young adults from Park
Lawn School and Activity Center. For over 57 years Park Lawn has been providing much needed
assistance to physically and mentally challenged citizens from several Southwest Chicagoland
Communities.
For the 14th year, we are beginning our fund-raiser with our Ad-Book campaign. Last year the
tournament ad book proceeds of $1,200.00 were added to our total donation of $16,000.00. Each
year our committee strives to improve on the previous year's book, and we hope that you will make
that happen! This ad book helps defray the cost of the tournament and our post-tournament party:
T-shirt, insurance, rentals, etc.
Our ad book, in a 5.5 " by 8.5 " format, will be distributed to over 55+ teams that will be taking part
in our tournament on Saturday, April 14th. The ad book is an excellent way to support Park Lawn
and the Volleyball for Charity tournament. Please consider being part of our ad book campaign in
2012. We count on our community support!
